Project Details
In this project, you can observe an unusual structural solution: a dish drying rack installed in the bottom cabinet. This is a convenient alternative in case the sink is located near a window, and the upper drawers are placed beyond arm’s reach. Moreover, any child or adult of short stature can easily reach a cup or plate by pulling out the drawer. Below the window, there is a radiator, so the depth of the cabinets and the guides of the pull-out drawers is reduced. For the same reason, grids for air circulation are integrated into the quartz countertop. The island in the center of the room not only adds workspace and storage space but also serves as a bar counter. All visible side walls of the cabinets are assembled with dowels. This means that on the outside, you won’t see any fasteners that would need to be covered with stickers matching the color of the frames.
