Project Details
The more complex the room, the more interesting it is to evaluate the result. Very often, owners of kitchens with complicated layouts and numerous utilities do not know where to start when planning the organization of kitchen space. Painted MDF was the perfect choice for implementing this project, thanks to its smooth surface and the ability to mill handles directly into the facade. The color of the walls matches the color of the furniture and built-in appliances, blending everything into a cohesive whole. The appliances are hidden, nothing in the project distracts attention, and the furniture does not look bulky. Gas pipes, ventilation ducts, a boiler, and a meter are hidden in the cabinets. To achieve this, the depth of the upper drawers was increased by 6 cm compared to standard ones. The wall cabinets open behind the facade. For this purpose, the lower shelf was shortened by 2 centimeters. Tip On mechanisms were installed on the doors that are impossible to open in this way, pushing the facade if pressure is applied to it. Despite the apparent simplicity of the project, the designer had to put in a lot of effort to place a built-in refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and an extractor hood, considering the existing utilities.
